Smokey Mountain vacation Part 2- Dollywood

One of the things we really enjoy when we visit the Smokies is visiting Dolly Wood. If you don’t know or you aren’t form that area, Dolly Wood is the amusement park owned by Dolly Parton ( she now co owns it). it’s smaller than your average amusement park but is really really clean and has alot of rides for all ages.Like most amusement parks, there are different sections, there is the 50’s section wich is our most fave, then the County Fair Section complete with Fair food and Games and Rides, then a country town and an area for the little ones to play. So much fun whether you are into country music or not, there is something for everyone here.

My Husband took these before our hike in the Smokies. There was a small swarm of these beautiful things on the ground.

If you do decide to visit DollyWood make sure you go earlier int he day, the park is only open from 9-7 most days and maybe a bit later in the summer time. it’s also a bit pricey to get in, but SO WELL WORTH IT
